Meta Keywords Tag – The meta keywords tag is a tag which can be used to highlight keywords and keyword phrases which the page is targeting.

Many people spammed meta keyword tags and searchers typically never see the tag, so most search engines do not place any weight on it. Many SEO professionals no longer bother to consider meta keywords tags as a serious SEO tactic.

Meta Refresh – A meta tag used to make a browser refresh to another URL location.

Microformats – A microformat is a web-based approach to semantic markup that seeks to re-use existing XHTML and HTML tags to convey metadata and other attributes. This approach allows information intended for end-users (such as contact information, geographic coordinates, calendar events, and the like) to also be automatically processed by software.

Mod-rewrite – A module or plugin for Apache web servers that can be used to rewrite requested URLs on the fly.
It supports an unlimited number of rules and an unlimited number of attached rule conditions for each rule to provide a flexible and powerful URL manipulation mechanism. Mod-rewrites can be used to alter non search-friendly URLs to make them more search-friendly, thus increasing indexing chances (typically used for a dynamic database driven websites).

Moved Permanently – Called a 301-Redirect or “moved permanently”, means that the file has been moved permanently to a new location. This is the preferred method of redirecting for most pages or websites. Depending on your site authority and crawl frequency it may take anywhere from a few days to a month or so for the 301-Redirect [link:] to be picked up.
